Manufacturing: PSP Machinery s.r.o. – the company was established on the basis of the PC Manufacturing by spinning off PSP Engineering a.s. on September 1, 2012.

The company is focused on manufacturing of heavy and medium heavy machines and components used in different industrial branches from the automobile to mining industries and it is equipped with corresponding machinery. PSP Machinery has two manufacturing shops Heavy machinery shop and Heavy mechanical and assembling shop. It is one of the best equipped manufacturing plants in heavy industry with extraordinary machinery that is used for manufacturing of large-sized and very heavy machines.

The Heavy machinery shop is equipped with many standard and special machines where components of maximum weight up to 50 t or 80 t are machined. The shop machinery includes horizontal boring machines (the biggest is WD with the travel up to 9 980 mm), vertical lathes fitted with CNC (max. dia. 7 000 mm and height of rotation 4 000 m), gearing milling machines (module up to 50, dia. up to 8 200 mm and width of gearing 1 750 mm), planning machine (working cut 3 150 x 10 000 mm), horizontal lathes (dia. 3 000 mm and width 13 000 mm).

The Super-heavy shop was built as a line manufacturing rotary kilns and large-sized parts of mill shells. It is equipped for manufacturing of components of weight up to 320 t (160 tons per one crane). The shop is equipped with machines for flame cutting of plates up to 150 mm thick, bending machine (thickness of plates more than 200 mm); annealing kiln 10 x 10 x 20 m with max. temperature 950°C, horizontal lathe (max. dia. 7 600 mm and length 20 000 mm), vertical lathe up to dia. 8 000 mm (max. 16 000 mm), horizontal boring machines with a clamping face 5.7 x 24 m, painting box and assembling area.

Besides specific machines there are devices for hand and automated welding, assembling centers, test rooms and paint shops.

The experienced team of the quality department ensures inlet inspections, process inspections and final inspections of all products according to customer’s requirements. The quality system is certified as per ISO 9001. The company ensures a wide range of quality inspections from quality plans, dimension checks, all non-destructive tests (VT, MT, UT, PT, RT).

The company is qualified for welding of thick plates and has successful references in welding plates of thickness up to 210 mm with 100% UT of welds and heat treated areas.
